did a playthrough, amazing for a first game

visually stunning although the reds and blues dont mix well

in future project consider optimization, as i can play doom eternal with 6x higher fps then this...

the walking segments get a bit boring, so does the final tram ride

for a first game, very good. The visuals and story concept carry this all the way to " yea thats a solid game "

Good job!

Thanks for the feedback! I’ve learned a lot since I made this and keep thinking about coming back to give it a remake. Maybe in the future.

This is one of the better looking games on this site for sure. It has a low-poly look that I always quite like, but the colour pallete and general feel of the game are also great and show a very specific aesthetic, it's worth a download for that alone.

Other than that, I enjoyed it quite a bit! It took me over an hour to beat it, but that was because I'm very dumb and got lost for like 30 minutes at one point!

Anyway, here's a nice, edited down video of it if you'd like to check it out :)

I finally had a chance to play Cor Mechanica! (which means avoid watching David Wehle’s Feedback Friday video so as not to be spoiled).

It took me two sessions to beat the game, and during the first one I forgot that I could press R to find the objectives cause I’m stupid lol. But it gave me the opportunity to waste myself in this beautiful environment. There is a huge work on the atmosphere, I especially loved how lighting, models and ambiance matches with this great soundtrack.

Knowing this is Jade first game this is really promising for its future in gamedev. I can’t wait to see his next project. In less than a minute he succeeds in immersing ourselves in his universe, with a simple but effective plot and many small details that support the storytelling.

Well done!

Thanks Max, I'm really glad you liked it! I hope to create more awesome adventures

For it being your first game, I am very surprised on the scale of environment that was developed. Usually the environment is about as big as a 1 - 2 bedroom apartment, so kudos on that. The cinematics and soundscape were pretty good, but the opening sequence was a bit laggy. My suggestion for the development of your next game is: try to focus on bringing more details (info & visuals) to the game, like individual backstory, npc, more dialogue. I say visual details because the environments felt hollowish, like more should be seen in certain areas. The little details are very important for immersion!

Great work!

Thanks for the awesome video and review! I’m glad you enjoyed it. I agree with your review and I’m definitely planning on having more details in my next game!

Thank you for patching in inverted controls and sensitivity adjustment.

5/5 The single thing I love the most is during those first few minutes you told me everything I needed to know about the world, my objective, what to expect, and sold me on that experience with the visual story telling and music. Great story telling and overall just awesome for your first game.

I love the guards especially the effects and how you handled them as you progressed.

The Map quest item I missed for a bit as the car took my focus trying to see if I could drive it and I skipped it til the end (for anyone missing that item, it's attached to a fallen building with a glow light effect by the car)

Minor Bug:
I was playing through with X normal and Y Inverted. When the last scene loaded, the X & Y settings got "swapped" (as in menu still showed x was normal and y inverted but in game it was opposite). Once I realized that was the issue I just swapped in menu and continued on playing. Also if you ever get caught and game resets, inversion controls don't get saved but again minor quality of life.

Thanks, Marc! I’m glad you liked it. I’m hoping my next game will be even better! Thanks for the kind words and for letting me know about that bug, I’ll look into it.

Only been able to play about 15 minutes, but that was enough for a start! The atmosphere is eerie and well-done, and provides some legit jump-scares. Can't wait to dig in more and finish!

Thanks, Phazon! I’m glad you’re liking!

So immersive! The music and open art style really bring the game to life. I wish there were more player interactions though. For example, when you're escaping on the train you can't really do anything but sit and watch the terra co fail to catch up to you. I feel that something like having to parkour through the train while train cars behind you are being blown to pieces would be a bit more engaging.  Awesome game though!

Thank's for the feedback! It's really helpful to hear honest feedback, and I'm defiantly going to be adding way more interactivity into my next game.

Hello, I played this game and it was pretty fun to play, the visuals, music and the environment were all great, I enjoyed it, just one thing I'd like to mention is that the mouse sensitivity was a bit too high but over all it was a neat game, good work :)

Thank for the video! And I’ll look into the sensitivity, thanks for bringing that to my attention.

Hey man, i have a really old computer and i'm waiting for it to update before i download this, what are the system requirements? If you know..

I don’t have the exact requirements right now, but it may have a low frame rate on much older PCs. It should be fine for the most part though. (Sorry for the late response.)

Greetings! Is there any way to invert the mouse Y-axis and adjust the sensitivity? Really looking forward to playing but it's a bit uncontrollable for me unfortunately!

I'm sorry, but I didn't implement any of those options unfortunately. I will look into updating the game to include those options though!

That would be awesome if possible! Thanks!

Hi! I just updated the game to include adjustable sensitivity and inverse controls!
